The Wake Up is a entertainment morning show providing students with the opportunities and experience needed within the Communications and Media field. Particularly for those studying Mass Communications, Journalism, Broadcasting, Production, and etc. The show’s main goal is to Wake Up the college community with the hottest news, gossip, and hot topics. Also including tunes to groove to every morning in preparation for a productive day. Complimenting our slogan “WAKE UP TURNT UP”. This will help  encourage students of TSU to take action and keep moving forward on their goals. The Wake Up airs Monday-Friday weekly throughout each semester from 8a.m.-10a.m.CST.

The Wake Up is developed and produced by Jasmine Scarber complimenting a young, fresh, upbeat team: Ms. Sweets gives the brighter side of talk show topics. “Jade-RENEE ” relates brings out her debatable subjects, flirtatious dynamic and student input. Ms. Ashley.  Ebony Sha’nae shares her openminded viewpoints and fashionable standpoints for our target market to relate. Swoosh personality also brings about the male perspective as well as his comedic inputs, and extensive energy to entertain the TSU community. All members are actively involved with the entertainment and media industry of Nashville while aiming to engage the growing diversity of the Tennessee State University and surrounding communities.
